On dark woods, I usually fill them with a black epoxy mix. On lighter woods, with epoxy with sanding dust from that wood mixed in. I'm not trying to hide them, as I feel they are a natural part of the wood, just filling them with something to create a smooth surface for the finish. |

Yes, that's the approach I was planning. I just want to make sure I understand all of the issues. These are 1mm pin holes |

I just give Neil DeGrasse Tyson a call. -- 1mm is a good size. |

I just use CA glue. It stays clear and you can get your spaceship though it |

Often I use this in the appropriate flavor. http://www.rockler.com/famowood-wood-fi ... iller-6-oz Or sometimes I will use a burn in stick. |

I simply don't fill them, and I'm not big on pore filling either. I've got several in the ambrosia maple guitar I built and have a couple of nice ones in the imbuia build that I'm working on right now. I suppose I might rethink this if I were trying to sell them, but my guitars are made as gifts, and the worm holes give them character in my opinion (micro-soundports). Now could someone explain string theory? |

Micro-soundports. A feature. ![]() Now that think about it, the epoxy pore fill will probably get them just fine. Its amazing how wormholes and string theory go with guitars. |
